Emergency Lighting Upgrades
SCV Electrical have recently been working in Two Temple Place, London, to continue with upgrades to the emergency lighting installation.
For this project, we replaced and upgraded the emergency lighting throughout many areas on the ground floor, paying particular attention to the escape routes and the open areas.
A challenge of this project lies in the heightened risk of Two Temple Place. This property is used for events, which means it is regularly occupied with people who may be visiting for the first time and are therefore unfamiliar with the layout of the property. To accommodate this, we paid specific attention to these open areas and additional spaces across the building to ensure all occupants would have a clear exit route during emergencies.
Another challenge lies in the interior design of this property. This is a stunning location, and the building prides itself on its interior design. To ensure that we provided sufficient emergency lighting without hindering the appearance of the interior, our team had to think outside the box.
Unlike many other emergency lighting projects, we had to make sure that all lights in this project were discreet yet effective to keep Two Temple Place a stunning place to visit while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
